OOTD: Cupcake Chic

Who doesn't love a cute cupcake now and again (and again and again...)? I get so excited when I discover a cafĂ© focused specifically on a dessert, such as the Cupcake Cafe Bar in West Lothian.

Don't they look amazing!! So many different flavours and equally delicious!

Invited to the beautiful rural location for a family birthday, I created a (somewhat) cupcake-inspired outfit and used the easy 10 minute hair curling technique which I'll be posting about later this week.

This is the first playsuit I've bought and I love the detailing and metal decoration. I found it in a small boutique in Mallorca this summer for around 17 euros - not bad!

The pretty pink blazer was another sneaky find, this time on Depop for roughly £15 (including P&P) but I'm unsure of the original brand as I don't recognise the name on the label and Google didn't either!

I made sure to wear my thick tights (500 denier!) as winter has definitely arrived in Scotland and my £6 beige wedge boots to tie all the light colours together.

Some of my lovely family. Such fun.

We were also fortunate enough to have a giant cupcake birthday cake made by a friend of the family and this was also scrumptious!

I definitely recommend checking out the Cupcake Cafe Bar if you are close by. Its rural location creates an idyllic setting with large glass windows showcasing the beautiful surroundings.

Have you been to The Cupcake Cafe Bar? And what do you think of my outfit?

Note: I will be on a school trip to Hamburg from 7-12th but posts will be up so hopefully everything will go to plan! Apologies if I'm a bit quiet on social media etc. I'm going to try some vlogging so fingers crossed for that.

And I still need to buy Christmas presents... oops...
