However, studies show blah blah blah that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, providing you with energy and nutrients to make your Monday less sucky and believe it or not: people who eat breakfast are (for the majority) slimmer than those who don't. Pretty snazzy eh.
After trying out a rather healthy, tasty and easy to make breakfast at my friend's house, I decided to share my new-found love for breakfast with you. What a coincidence when I discovered that we are in the midst of National Breakfast Week - perfect timing!
Greek Yoghurt, Granola and Nice Fruit
Unlike many breakfast cereals which are either dry and crunchy or soggy from milk, this lovely little dish has a mixture of textures. I also love the creaminess of the yoghurt, the honey-flavoured granola and the slightly more uncommon fruits I have used.
However the best bit surely is how unbelievably easy it is to make; you just throw all the ingredients together!
- Greek Yoghurt (low or no fat versions are available)
- Nature Valley Oats And Honey Granola
- Mixture of fruit (I'm using blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, banana, pomegranate and grapes - but not all at once!)
- Honey is optional but very necessary for me (I think I'm addicted)
