New and exciting Luxemmewho sent me this gorgeous two piece, is an online fashion retailer based in Manchester. The brand describes themelves as a "forward thinking fashion brand combining Parisian chic with Manchester street style" and I think I'd have to agree!

Luxemme aims to provide luxury quality for affordable prices and I was certainly impressed by my choice. I was asked to select my favourite piece from the Limited Edition range and so chose the Olivie Lace Trim Two Piece. Thankfully I love it - now here are lots of pretty pictures enjoy xxx

I must apologise for the lack of posting recently; moving to Aberdeen has made me incredibly busy and I have also been struck down by freshers flu! However, I have almost finished decorating my room so a uni room tour will be up asap - possibly on YouTube. And I have been brainstorming loads of other ideas for university related posts - if you have any questions about moving out or freshers week, feel free to ask and I'll try my best to answer now or include a response in a future post!

You can browse and buy from Luxemme here - let me know if you see anything you like!
Will you be buying from Luxemme? Which piece from the Limited Edition range is your favourite?

Luxemme Outfit Review

Music wasn't something I thought I would share when I started blogging, but I think you can tell a lot about a person from their music taste. It's a little sneak peak behind the blog and the blogger - unless you blog happens to be a music blog of course.

My first music post was much more popular than I had expected so I'm going to make this playlist sharing a monthly occurrence, considering as I make monthly playlists for myself anyway.
I find my playlists reflect my mood(s) so I'm interested in how you interpret September's mixed offering! There's a bit of everything such as Dillon Francis, LION BABE, The Wombats, Leikeli47, Twenty One Pilots and also Rae Sremmurd who I am going to see live in December which should be rather exciting!

My September Top 3:

  1. Real Joy - Fono
  2. Hide Away - Daya (who has just released this amazing EP)
  3. Do It Anyway - Sinead Harnett

Enjoy and let me know what you are listening to this September - I love to discover new music!

I'm finally back on YouTube! It's only been just over a month lol...

However I'm actually pretty pleased with this video, it only took me about a whole day to edit. Luckily I'm getting quicker with my editing software as I learn what all the scary buttons mean! I will admit I was a little nervous to do a voiceover as I'm not the biggest fan of my voice on recordings (who is?) but I think it turned out okay. There's always room for improvement.

Pleeeeeeeease let me know what you think as I am constantly trying to make my videos (and my blog for that matter) the best I can! I'm also in the midst of a blog design overhaul which may or may not include the font in that photo and the video... *moon emoji* Oh goodness I've started using emojis in blog posts now - I'll try to use them only when necessary I promise.

ANYWAY.

I'll stop rambling now. Enjoy the video!

August was quite a busy month for me. I attended Scot Blog Meet, met up for a Nando's (and had a salad) with one of my future uni flatmates, saw Milton Jones in the Fringe festival, oh and I saw the Lady Boys of Bangkok too, then I watched the end of the festival fireworks last night and was part of the Marketing team for Metropolitan's Talent 2015 fashion show which was absolutely craaaaazy but so exciting! Amongst socialising, blogging and sleeping too of course.

September looks to be an (almost?) equally busy month. I have my driving test in a week (which I am so nervous for), my 1 year anniversary with Grant (we're going to the Zoo yaaaaas) and hmm what else... oh yes, I'm starting university - in Aberdeen. Exciting times!

I find writing/typing to-do lists and plans etc. helps clear my mind and relieves me of a lot of stress, so here are my goals for September.

September Goals

  • Pass driving test
  • Buy everything I need for university before I get to Aberdeen
  • Decorate my uni room to be Pinterest-worthy
  • Practice cooking meals, again, before I move
  • Enjoy Freshers' Week (even though I'm not 18 </3)
  • Enjoy university (although my course officially starts on the 30th so maybe this is an October goal? I'm moving on the 13th though!)
  • Join gym in Aberdeen and actually go
  • Make friends in Aberdeen (I'm sure I will with my apparent irresistible charm)
  • Sell clothes on Depop
  • Budget well at university
  • Redesign blog header and YouTube graphics
  • Not to be so hard on myself (in regards to pretty much everything)
Basically all of those are to do with university haha, but I guess it is a big change in my life so it makes sense. If you are a new student like me, I highly recommend you check out Hayley's Student Sundays series at Water Painted Dreams for advice. Here is her most recent post.

If you know any other good university advice articles, please link me up - I need all the help I can get! I haven't bought anything at all for moving yet although my mum is planning an IKEA day out on Saturday. I am actually incredibly excited for that - is that sad..?

What are your goals for September? Anyone starting university like me?
